Elysian
Getting started

What is Elysian

A daily wellbeing check-in for students, and early signals for the teachers who look out for them.

Elysian asks students one question every day: how are you, really? It takes about ten seconds. Their teachers see the answers come together into a picture of the class, spot who has had a run of hard days, and follow up in person.

Elysian is not a diagnosis tool and it never decides anything. It gets an early signal to the right adult, and leaves the response to them.

Three people, one app

Every school uses Elysian with three roles. Each sees a different version of the app, built for what they need to do.

The daily loop

  1. A student checks in

They pick one of eight moods, from frustrated to happy, and can add a private note.

  2. The teacher reads the room

Today shows who checked in, how the week is going, and who has had three heavy check-ins in a row.

  3. An assignment goes out

A short set of reflective questions on a wellbeing topic, written by hand or drafted with AI.

  4. Answers come back

A safeguarding review reads every written answer and flags anything that looks concerning, with the exact words and a one-line reason.

  5. The teacher decides

A quiet word, a nudge, or a note to the school counselor. The follow-up is always a person.

Classes

Every class in Elysian is its own space. Students only ever see their own class, teachers see the classes they run, and school admins see every class in their school. If you belong to more than one class, a class switcher lets you move between them.

Built around privacy

Students choose what to share. Notes on check-ins and everything written in exercises stay private to the student. Read who sees what for the full picture.
