Responses and flags
Every answer your class hands in, with anything the safeguarding review flagged at the top.
Responses holds every answer your class hands in. Anything the safeguarding review thinks you should read sits at the top, so you always know where to start.
Needs review and Reviewed
Flags live in two tabs. Needs review holds every flag you have not looked at yet, from every assignment, however old. Reviewed keeps the ones you have dealt with, with your notes. Below them, each recent assignment lists the students who have handed it in.
Reviewing a flag
- Open it
You see the student's full answer with the words that caused the flag highlighted, and Why this was flagged in one line.
- Follow up
Talk to the student, or use Email to write to them, or Tell support lead for a pre-filled safeguarding email to your school's lead.
- Mark it as reviewed
Pick a note such as Spoke with Sam in person (with the student's name), Shared with the counselor, Contacted home or Read it, no action needed, or write your own. Notes are visible to staff only.
Severity
| Severity | Where it shows up | When |
|---|---|---|
| High | Emailed to you straight away, and pinned to the top of Responses | Now |
| Medium | Waiting in Responses, and in your daily digest email | Today |
| Low | In Responses, worth keeping an eye on | Watch |
Flags come from an AI review and are not a clinical assessment. Always follow your school's safeguarding policy, and if a student may be in immediate danger, contact emergency services.
