Your daily check-in

Pick the mood closest to how you feel, add a private note if you like, and build a streak.

Your check-in is the heart of Elysian. Once a day, you pick the mood that is closest to how you feel. There is no right answer, and Meh is a perfectly honest one.

How to check in

  1. Open Today

The check-in card is the first thing you see: How are you feeling?

  2. Pick a mood

Tap the one closest to how you feel right now, then Continue.

  3. Add a note, if you like

A short question for that mood appears, with space to write. It is optional: write as much or as little as you want, or choose Skip the note.

  4. Check in

You get +10 XP, or +15 XP when you are on a streak, and a short line about the mood you chose.

Your notes are yours

Notes you add to a check-in are only ever shown to you, in your mood journal. Your teacher sees which mood you chose, never the note.

After you check in

You get one exercise suggestion that fits the mood you picked, with a line about why, for example Cyclic sigh when you feel anxious, or Three good things on a good day. It is optional. Tap it to start, or ignore it.

Checking in with your class

Your teacher may put a QR code on the board. Scan it with your phone camera and it opens the check-in. The board shows colours and a count, never names. If you have already checked in today, you will see that you are already on the board. It is still one check-in a day.

Streaks

Checking in on days in a row builds a streak. Today shows your current streak, your best so far, and how many days until your next streak badge at 3, 7, 14 and 30 days.

  • One check-in a day counts, based on the time where you are.
  • Missing a day starts the streak again from one. Your best streak is kept.
  • Streaks earn bonus XP on every check-in after the first day.

What else is on Today

  • This month: a calendar with each day coloured by how it felt.
  • Due soon: your next assignments and their deadlines.
  • Your level and how much XP until the next one.
  • Your week: seven days at a glance and your wellness score. How the score works.
