Emails Elysian sends
Every email, who receives it, and when it goes out.
Elysian sends a small number of emails, each one for a reason. Every email links back into the app.
| Who gets it | When | |
|---|---|---|
| Invitation | A new teacher or student | When a school admin invites them |
| New assignment | Each student it was sent to | When a teacher sends an assignment |
| New announcement | Every student in the class | When a teacher posts an announcement |
| A quick hello from your teacher | One student | When a teacher nudges them, at most once a day |
| A student would like to talk | The class teacher | Straight after a student asks to talk |
| A high-severity flag needs your attention | The class teacher | Straight after a high severity flag |
| Daily digest | The class teacher | Once a day: answers handed in over the last day, and the flags still waiting |
Emails teachers write
From a student's profile or a flag, teachers can open a pre-written message in their own email app, such as a gentle check-in to the student or a safeguarding note to the school's support lead. Nothing is sent until the teacher sends it themselves.
