Joining your class
How invitations work, creating your account, and what happens on your first sign-in.
Elysian is invite only. Nobody can create an account without an invitation from their school, which keeps every class closed to the people who belong in it.
How you get in
- Your school invites you
A school admin sends an invitation to your email address from Class Management. Teachers and students are invited the same way.
- You open the email
The invitation links straight to Elysian. Follow it to create your account with that email address.
- You land in your class
Your account is linked to the class you were invited to, with the right role already set: student, teacher or admin.
- A short welcome
The first time you sign in, Elysian walks you through what it does in a few short steps. You can skip it.
If you sign in and see a page saying you are not in a class yet, your account exists but has not been added to one. Ask your teacher or school admin to invite you to the right class.
The welcome for students
- This is your space. Elysian takes about ten seconds a day. Check in each day +10 XP, answer assignments +20 XP, and use exercises +10 XP.
- Who sees what. Exactly where your answers go, before you share anything. See who sees what.
- Your first check-in. A real one, so day one of your streak starts straight away.
- What happens next. Streaks, deadlines, exercises, and the weekly leaderboard that starts fresh every Monday.
The welcome for teachers
- What Elysian does for you: the class mood in plain sentences, questionnaires drafted by AI on any of 12 wellbeing topics, and a safeguarding review of written answers.
- Six places, one job each. A short tour of the sidebar.
- AI reads first. You decide. What High, Medium and Low flags mean, and where each one lands.
- Send your first assignment. Pick a topic, let AI draft the questions, change anything, and send. It takes about two minutes.
More than one class
If you belong to several classes, use the class switcher at the top of the sidebar to move between them. Everything you see, from moods to assignments, belongs to the class you have selected.
